Highlights

We've got those happy feet
This past semester, a new extracurricular activity was brought to LCS students: ballet! With the talents of 00-01 volunteer Laura Banaszynski, students meet twice a week in the library to practice. Currently the course involves 10-15 girls and boys along with some occasional curious visitors. The class will continue next semester, following the LCS tradition of learning beyond the classroom.

Feeding the Spirit
Students are now able to participate in Mass twice a month due to our ongoing collaboration with the missionary fathers of St. Charles Borromeo. Although LCS is home to students of many denominations, coming together to celebrate Mass is our sign of unity as a school. Thanks to Frs. Mariano and Joseph, as well as our talented choir director Johanne Bonegre, Mass is a special time for all LCS students to worship through song and prayer.

One Step Closer to Completion
Electricians John Griffith and Bleu Cease were new visitors to the LCS campus in January. From Warren Wilson College in North Carolina, John and Bleu have helped the school accomplish its dream of a community library. Warren Wilson is a work college based on similar philosophies as LCS, using work in community as a way of life and learning. LCS is grateful to John and Bleu for their contributions.
